Air
Conditioning & Heat Pumps
Air
Conditioning has been growing in the North east
for several years. A new development has added
Heat Pumps to these systems that are designed
for the Northeast.
We
install air conditioning systems in new
homes, and it can be easily added to
existing homes. Mini split systems are
installed without the use of duct work.
These systems run by remote control, and
they can run as a fan only, the louvers are
adjustable to direct the blowing air where
you want it. We can install one in a single
room, or the whole floor of your home.
Some of the mini split models serve as heat
pumps as well. When the temperature is above
20 degrees, the heat pump works to heat the
area, instead of turning on your furnace.

Call us to ask about our customers that have
had a heat pump installed. And how they loved
the air conditioning that it provided last
summer! |

In duct work systems,
we install "hybrid" heating systems. Hybrid
heat uses a heat pump for ½ of the winter,
and a furnace for the colder part of the
winter. So you can
save fuel costs by
leaving your furnace off until the real cold
temperatures hit. |

The brands of equipment that we
install are Trane, Hallowell,
Fujitsu mini splits, Unico high
velocity and more. |

A new product is
the Hallowell Acadia Heat Pump (an air
source heat pump). With this
specially designed Heat Pump, you can heat
your home for the entire winter without the
use of fossil fuel. That's right; it is air
conditioning in reverse that compresses the
gases a little bit more, so that there is
enough heat going through the lines to make
you comfortable. These systems are built in
Maine, and they are designed for the
Northeast. It is similar to Geo Thermal,
accept there are no wells, or underground
pipes. And the efficiency is 240 to 300%!
For every Btu that goes in, 3 Btu's come
out! No more oil or propane to burn. |
